Dr Karabo Kekana

About Us

Vital Vision Opticals is the brain child of Dr Karabo Kekana a practicing optometrist in Jane Furse. A dedicated and ambitious clinician, she has a passion for bringing vision to the blind and visually impaired. She completed her honours degree in Bachelor of Optometry at the University of Limpopo in 2015. She has been in practice since 2016 to date.

Dr Karabo Kekana has since been a philanthropist in eye and vision care in the Sekhukhune region, serving the community with compassion and unwavering dedication. Her commitment to eye care extends beyond the field of practice, as she perpetually embraces serving the local community through vision screening at schools and local clinics.

She has also formed part of the Jane Furse Memorial Hospital and is eager to learn and serve the community at large. She has held the baton for eye care awareness campaigns surrounding cataract blindness with the South African National Bureau for the blind as well as the Rural Health Matters project, just to name a few. Her eagerness to learn has paved way to enrolment with the University of Johannesburg for her Masters in Optometry.
